About festival

International Sound & Film Music Festival (ISFMF) is one of the three largest and most important sound and film music festivals in the world.

The mission of the International Sound & Film Music Festival (ISFMF) is to promote awareness of the importance of music and sound as irreplaceable elements of film. The festival also provides visibility to audiovisual professions who work in the field of composing music, sound design and sound mixing.

Born from the small family circle of today’s Artistic Director Ozren K. Glaser, Tena Glaser and Željko Glaser, later strengthened by the arrival of the Executive Director Marijana Knezoci, ISFMF grew year by year, in 2025 celebrates its 13th anniversary.

The first decade of the ISFMF was marked by the attendance of some of the biggest names of the film and music showbusiness who contributed to the festival in the form of masterclasses, concerts, joining the Artistic Board and especially friendships that last to this day.

And truly, no event has ever brought more Oscar, BAFTA, Emmy and Golden Globe winners to Croatia than ISFMF over the past years. The festival’s official program includes concerts of film music, panels and seminars, workshops, film market and parties and it takes place in October.

FESTIVAL SPOTLIGHT

Simon Pegg
Crystal Pine Honorary Award 2026

The International Sound & Film Music Festival is proud to announce that Simon Pegg will receive the Crystal Pine Honorary Award 2026.

Simon Pegg co-wrote and co-starred (as Tim Bisley) in the acclaimed, cult television show Spaced. After two groundbreaking seasons, he moved on to develop and co-write, with Edgar Wright, the critically praised feature Shaun of the Dead, starring as the eponymous hero, Shaun. The film has since been voted one of the Best British Comedies ever made by many, including Empire magazine and Channel 4.

After conquering zombies, award ceremonies and the rest of the world, Pegg and Wright reprised their debut movie success with the smash-hit follow-up feature, Hot Fuzz, in which Pegg starred as über cop Nicholas Angel. Pegg then went on to star in the David Schwimmer-directed feature film, Run Fatboy Run, and as the anti-hero, Sidney Young, in How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, alongside Kirsten Dunst and Jeff Bridges.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost returned to the screen together in their co-written feature film Paul with a cast including Seth Rogan, Jason Bateman, Steven Spielberg and Sigourney Weaver and also completed the final installment of their ‘Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy’ in style with The Worlds End, once again directed by Edgar Wright and receiving unanimous critical acclaim worldwide.

Pegg’s other notable credits include Steven Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin; John Landis’ Burke & Hare, voicing ‘Reepicheep’ in The Chronicles Of Narnia: Voyage Of The Dawn Treader and ‘Buck’ in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs & 2016’s Ice Age: Collision Course as well as starring in his own ‘Buck’ spin off feature, ‘The Adventures of Buck Wild’ in 2021. Simon was also seen boldly going into the J.J. Abrams-directed global hits Star Trek and Star Trek: Into Darkness playing the iconic role of Montgomery Scott (Scotty) as well as co-writing and starring in 2016’s Star Trek Beyond

He also reprised his Mission: Impossible III role as Benji Dunn three more times in the box-office-beating hits, Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation & Mission Impossible Fallout. Pegg also had a very well kept ‘secret’ role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens playing junkboss Unkar Plutt as well as having a behind-the-scenes role as a sounding board for the JJ Abrams story.

2018 saw Simon take on dual duties as both Ogden Morrow and the voice of The Curator in Steven Spielberg’s hugely successful adaptation of Ernest Cline’s novel Ready Player One.

With more recent roles, such as playing a much talked about character, Hugh Campbell Sr, in Amazon Studios’ smash hit adaptation of popular comic-book series The Boys, the voice of The Chamberlain in Netflix’ The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance , Pegg also starred alongside Juno Temple in Katharine O’Brien’s intimate look at the devastating impact of mental illness in Lost Transmissions. In 2024, Pegg featured his 5th instalment of Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning and also lead the cast of Peter Kosminsky’s cyber-thriller The Undeclared War, in a return to where it all began for him with Spaced, at Channel 4.

Pegg then featured in an extended role in the latest season of The Boys in 2024 and completed production on Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoningwhich marks an impressive 20 years working on the franchise for him – out in May 2025. He has just completed filming on the second season of The Undeclared War for C4 and it was also recently announced that Simon will once again voice the character of Buck Wild in the next installment of the Ice Age franchise.

RISING STAR 2026 NOMINEES

Lisa Steinway

I’m a Paris-based singer and multi-instrumentalist, blending R&B, soul, and pop into a sound that is both intimate and powerful.

My approach to music is deeply rooted in live performance, where emotion, authenticity, and connection are at the center of everything I do.

I gained national recognition through The Voice France, where my audition earned a four-chair turn. The day before stepping onto that stage, I had just performed my first concert in New York, flying back overnight to be there.

Influenced by classic soul and contemporary R&B, my artistic identity is built around storytelling, vocal expression, and musical precision, with a focus on creating honest, raw, and deeply human moments on stage. I’m currently developing my original project, with the ambition of reaching an international audience through both live performances and digital platforms.

Bernarda Bobovečki

Bernarda Bobovečki is a young Croatian singer-songwriter and performer, recognized for her distinctive voice, strong emotional expression, and as a finalist of the Croatian edition of The Voice.

Through her performances and reinterpretations of regional classics, she builds an intimate connection with an ever-growing audience, bringing an authentic expression that transcends genre boundaries. With an increasing presence on digital platforms and a distinctive audiovisual identity, Bernarda stands out as a rising artist of the new generation.

Oléma

Cameroonian singer-songwriter and producer, Oléma arrived in France in 2014 with the ambition of becoming an engineer. But music, stronger than anything else, quickly imposed itself.

Self taught and rooted in folk, she absorbs chanson, rock, soul and jazz to build a pop sound that belongs to her alone. Echoes of Teri Moïse’s poetry, Sade’s softness and Kate Bush’s boldness, yet difficult to categorize.

Her debut album Marlène is released under the label Othantiqaa, a project between innocence and identity, which takes her to her first solo Parisian stages. Now independent, she steps into the role of producer, with singles Âme à âme and Loin du désespoir as the first milestones of this new chapter.

Noticed during season 13 of The Voice France in 2024, she goes on to open for Yamê at the Trianon and Blick Bassy at the Cigale, establishing herself as one of the most promising artists of the new French pop scene.
