DreaMaker Productions, founder of International Sound & Film Music Festival presents a new and innovative learning program – the Film & Media Sound Academy.
The Film & Media Sound Academy is a pioneering educational program dedicated to cultivating the next generation of sound professionals. With a focus on hybrid learning and access to top-tier industry professionals, the academy is poised to become a global leader in sound design education.
This groundbreaking program is the result of a strategic collaboration between DreaMaker Productions, the Croatian Academic and Research Network (CARNET), and University North, leveraging both online and in-person educational experiences.
The academy’s unique educational approach combines online masterclasses with mentor-led, on-site workshops. This model ensures flexible learning opportunities while providing hands-on experience, critical for mastering the complex field of sound design in film and media. “Our hybrid model is designed to cater to the needs of both local and international students, offering a flexible schedule without compromising the depth and intensity of the training,” explained Marijana Knezoci, CEO at DreaMaker Productions.
The program boasts an impressive roster of lecturers, including industry legends like Mark Ulano & Patrushkha Mierzwa, Michael Minkler, Scott Millan, James Mather, Stuart Wilson, Roland Vajs who bring their award-winning expertise directly to the students through both the digital and physical classroom settings.
